Trouver chaussure à son pied
The French have a saying ‘trouver chaussure a son pied’, which quite literally means ‘find shoes for your feet’. Sound a little strange right? Well, they may just be onto something.

Winter is great because it gets us all out of Havaianas and into something a little more fashion forward and outfit complimentary, not to mention there is more of a range to choose from. Boots have been the stock standard winter shoe for a while now, and this season is no different. However, don’t feel limited to wearing black biker or military boots through this cold. Colour choices are ripe; with beiges, burgundy’s and brown’s enhancing the earthy colour palette. And don’t feel like you have to be restricted to just boots. Mix it up a little and incorporate some multi-tonal brogue inspired lace-ups, or perhaps a relaxed leather desert boot (a pleasant change from suede which doesn’t cope well in rain).
